Cornelius Griffin is a strong, skilled and durable lineman who can both stop the run and rush the passer. He had his best season as a pro in 2004, recording 96 tackles (66 solo) and six sacks. He has compiled 26 sacks with 473 tackles (326 solo) at either left or right defensive tackle during his career. He joined the Redskins during the 2004 offseason after four seasons with NFC East-rival New York Giants.
