Redskins Host Santa Shoppe At FedExField

The Redskins locker room at FedExField was turned into a Santa Shoppe on Tuesday, with toys for more than 1,000 area children. The event was sponsored by the Redskins Charitable Foundation and the Toys For Tots program.

Redskins Name Burnett High School Coach of the Year

Broad Run High School football coach Mike Burnett is the Redskins High School coach of the Year for the 2008 high school football season. Coach Burnett has been coaching football for 11 years, with this season being his third as head coach at Broad Run in Ashburn, Va.

Randle El Helps 'Warm Up' Area Youth

Antwaan Randle El and the Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted a holiday party and coat giveaway on Dec. 9 at two local schools. Teammates, including Ladell Betts, Andre Carter, Rocky McIntosh and H.B. Blades, were also in attendance at the event.

Thomas, Davis Congratulate 'Reading Challenge' Winners

Fred Davis and Devin Thomas congratulated students at Bailey's Elementary School on Tuesday for winning the "Redskins Reading Challenge Powered by Scholastic Book Fairs." Students read 70,452 books in 45 days.
