Yes! I came all the way from Japan just to be a Redskins Cheerleader! I am so happy to be back for a second season!
Although I miss my family, friends, and food, you can’t imagine how much I am honored to cheer for the Redskins.
I had been a cheerleader for the American football team (X-league) in Japan for 4 years before I came to DC. I also was selected as an all-star cheerleader in the X-league for 3 years in a row and belonged to a Professional Cheerleading Team, too. I juggled 3 teams at the same time for 2 years and somehow managed to sleep 3 or 4 hours a day! Crazy!
I graduated from Dokkyo University in Japan with a major in French.
This is my third year living in America. I feel much more comfortable than last year and have settled into DC. I enjoy traveling around the world to experience new places and cultures.
I studied abroad in France 3 times, Alaska for a year in high school, and San Francisco for 1 year, which was a great experience, and I’ve been backpacking through 7 countries in Europe. Through my travels I have learned about myself and realized that I have much to learn about my own Japanese culture as well.
