Hello Fans,

My name is Michelle and this is my 7th season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. It’s also my second year as a Co-Captain in Heather’s line. I’m actually cheering with about 5 of the same girls from last year so I’m really excited to be back with my line family and of course we welcome the new additions. Forming lasting bonds with some of DC’s [metro area] finest is one of the best things about our team, but one of the most exciting things is all the opportunities that come with the job.

During my 7 years on the squad I have accomplished quite a bit. I have traveled to more than 15 countries to bring a little slice of home to the men and women of our United State Military. Some of these countries include Bosnia, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. I have also had the opportunity to lend my time to countless charities helping causes such as homelessness, juvenile diabetes, and Children’s Hospital, to name a few. On the lighter side I have traveled to an exotic location every year to be part of the sexist swimsuit calendar in NFL cheerleading and I get to inspire hundreds of young ladies with my participation in our Junior Redskins Cheerleading program.

As I mentioned before this squad is an elite group of women. After just one short year on the team, I was inspired to go back to school for my bachelors and I’m now a graduate of University of Maryland with a Bachelors in Business Marketing from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Currently I am working for the Department of Homeland Security as a Customer Relationship Manager. When I’m not at work, at practice, at the games, or attending charity events, which isn’t often, I like to relax and catch up on some of my favorite pastimes. Some of my hobbies include, going to the movies, eating out at restaurants, traveling, and enjoying the city [DC].

I’ve spoken a lot about the team and all that they have done to help mold me into the woman I am today, but I would not have had the passion and drive it takes to make such a team if it wasn’t for the strong backbone my family has provided for me. I have very loving parents that nurtured my talents and built a platform for success by pushing me to be the best that I can be. I have a sister that has shown me that it is not only okay but rewarding to just be yourself. With their support I can do anything.

Happy Football Season,
