Hey Redskins Fans! 

My name is Megs and I am 25 years old.  I cannot tell you how grateful I am to be chosen as a “First Lady of Football” again.  I am so excited to be back with my teammates and all of the fans to cheer our team on for another year.  Cheering for the Redskins has changed my life in so many ways; a long way from where it all started…. dancing in the hall mirror when I was 3!

I grew up as a “military brat” wait, correction, a “Marine Brat” - sorry, daddy!  I’ve lived all over the world, but I claim Stafford, VA as my hometown.  Even though it was a tough job growing up moving all the time, the one thing I did take from place to place was my love of dance.  

I was the captain of the North Stafford Wolverettes in high school and my favorite past time was performing and choreographing for the Dance Company of Virginia Tech in college- GO HOKIES!!!!!  After graduation I continued my dream and was a member of the NBA Washington Wizards Dance Team.   

I realized early that my love of teaching was as big as my dream to dance.  I taught as a UDA instructor at camps all over the country during my college summers while teaching at Dance.Tech Performing Arts Studio during the year.  After graduation I continued teaching dance at Metropolitan Fine Arts Center and Joy of Dance, where I am today! 

See, I told you I have come a long way from the mirror in my parent’s hallway!!

In my free time….wait ...what’s that?  Just kidding, I love spending time with my family and fiancé.  I always say dinner time at our table is better than any comedy club you can find.  I have the best time when they are around; it’s so wonderful that when everything in life changes your family is always there.  They even come to EVERYTHING Redskins, so you will probably see them at some point!

So, are YOU ready for some football?!  Thank you so much for all of the support! You really are the best fans in the NFL and I love being a part of this Redskins family.
