Hi, Everyone!

My name is Jaqui and I’m an outgoing Southern Belle from Winston-Salem, N.C. This is my 3rd season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader and 4th year as a part of the WRC Family (I was a Cheerleader Ambassador first)! I’m so happy to be back!!

My love for the Redskins started when I was very young. Growing up in North Carolina, before there were Carolina Panthers, there were only the Redskins. My father was a die-hard fan along with everyone else I knew. We watched the games together and I performed during TV commercials. I had no idea those moments would lead to cheerleading! He would be so proud to see me today! Thanks, Daddy!

My first season with the Redskins was awesome. To jump-start it all, we traveled to Cancun, Mexico for our calendar shoot and closely following that, I was performing at FedEx field for the 1st time!!! These events were just the beginning of an amazing year! I was also blessed to travel and perform at NYC Fleet Week, 8th & I marines, many local charities, and some music videos as well. We ended last season with a BANG as well when we traveled to INDIA! Going to perform for the Indian Premier League in Bangalore, India, was surely an event of a lifetime… In the beginning of this year we traveled to Hong Kong, China to perform as a part of the Chinese New Year Parade!!! I look forward to more opportunities to not only cheer at our home games, but also entertain for our troops all over the world in the months ahead… busy, busy!

I attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh and it was there that I was introduced to competitive dance. I was a member of the N.C. State Dance Team (Howlin’ Hunnies) for four years and I enjoyed it so much that I had to continue my passion. So, I served as head coach there for two years.

Although my background is in chemistry, I currently work as a Business Systems Analyst for an IT support firm. I like the balance of being an analytical thinker by day and using my creative expression by night. There is never a boring day!

When I am not performing, I enjoy spending quality time with my amazing husband, family and friends, eating Southern meals, and relaxing around great company! Keeping close those who love you most is the key to success in all that I do…thank you ALL for always supporting me!

All in all, I cannot put into words how amazing this opportunity has been to be part of the Redskins organization. I look forward to traveling the world to continue supporting our U.S. Military, dancing like nobody is watching, and meeting more of the best fans in the NFL!
