Words cannot express how excited I am to be one of the "First Ladies of Football!" This is my second season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. Over the past two years, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel all around the world. Last year, I was able to travel to India where we cheered for India Premier Cricket league, to Aruba where we shot our 2008-2009 swimsuit calendar, and to Europe where we performed with Armed Forces Entertainment for military troops and their families. This year, I was honored to dance in the Chinese New Year Celebration Parade in Hong Kong.
I am originally from Virginia Beach, and have been dancing basically my entire life. I started at the age of five, and was technically trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary. I continued my dance career through college where I was a member of the nationally ranked Virginia Tech Hightech dance team...GO HOKIES!
If there is anything you need to know about me, it’s that I am a diehard sports fan! I grew up surrounded by sports; my Dad played baseball in the Houston Astros organization, and my brother currently plays for the San Diego Padres organization. I became a huge football fan after I cheered for my very first game in college. I cannot think of a single thing I would rather do than to be on the field cheering at a home football game.
Thanks again for all your support! I can’t wait to cheer the Redskins to victory this season.
