Hey there Redskins Fans!

My name is Buffy and this is my first year as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. I can’t even begin to describe how honored and excited I am to be part of the "First Ladies of Football"! 

I have been dancing since the age of two, mostly ballet, tap and jazz. I was fortunate enough to train with amazing studios such as, Dawn Crafton Dancers, Maryland Youth Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet. After graduating from college, I spent three years as part of the Washington Wizards dance team, where I picked up my first official pair of pom-poms.

During my third season, my husband & I were then surprised to find out we were going to be having twins! So I hung up my poms for a season, but knew I was far from finished. After their birth, I spent the next twelve months dedicated to getting back into shape. All the hard work paid off when I heard my number called at the final auditions.

After making the team, we had the wonderful experience of traveling to Aruba for the Calendar shoot. We performed for the locals, got to bond with our teammates & learned a lot from the veteran cheerleaders. The cherry on top of an already wonderful experience was discovering my photo would grace the back cover of this year’s calendar. I hope everyone enjoys the amazing finished product!

Between practice, games, charity events, and taking care of the twins full time, it’s hard to even catch my breath, but during my free time, I love to cook, run, and spend time with friends and family.  I have a wonderful husband and an awesome network of friends who are always "cheering" for me :) I couldn’t have made the team without the support and love of my family and friends; so thanks guys.
