Hello my name is Bethany and this is my second season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader and before that I was a Washington Redskins Ambassador. When I am not cheering on the Redskins, I am taking step aerobics, zumba, cardio kickboxing, spinning, and dance classes to stay in shape. I also enjoy being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
I left for India just two days after making the squad last season. Being a brand new rookie, traveling and performing with all veterans was a challenge, but gave me a jump-start on the season. I spent 18 days traveling India and getting to perform for hundreds of thousands of people. We were the Cheerleaders for the Royal Challengers Bangalore of the Indian Premier League. This is a new sport league for Cricket and it was a huge success.
After India, I traveled with the squad to the Hall of Fame game for 4 days where we performed and visited the local children’s hospital. We also held a day camp for local cheerleaders. It was a very busy trip and a wonderful experience.
When the season was over, I was able to travel to both the Senior Bowl and Super Bowl XLIII with the Redskins organization. These trips were AMAZING and I truly had an unforgettable rookie season as a WRC!
During the day, I am a pharmaceutical sales representative in the D.C. Metro area. I am a graduate of West Virginia University, where I received a B.S. in Marketing. I also hope to go back to school for my masters degree in the future.
I look forward to being able to perform for all of you at the games this year and to cheer on the best team in the NFL to victory.
