My name is Ashley and this is my first season with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders!
My love for dance began when I was 3 years old and continues to this day. I was on the varsity cheerleading squad in high school, took dance lessons at local studios throughout my childhood, and was a Washington Mystics Mayhem dancer! Currently, I’m a member of the Capitol Movement Dance Company (CMI) and love performing with them each year.
Although this is my rookie year, it’s not the first time that I have performed at FedEx Field. I started with the Redskins organization when I was 8 years old as a Junior Redskins Cheerleader, advancing to a Junior Redskins All-Star dancer, and this past year, a satellite Coach for the Junior Redskins Cheerleaders. For over 10 years, I have dreamt of becoming a Washington Redskins Cheerleader! I will never forget my first time on the field. The lights were so bright, the fans were cheering so loud, and my adrenaline was racing so fast- I knew this is where I belong!
My favorite charity is “Make a Wish Foundation”. For the past 5 years I have been very active in raising money to help a child’s wish come true. This is a wonderful organization that I am proud to be involved with.
Aside from cheering, I am also a full time college student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, as well as working as a dance instructor. In my free time I mostly enjoy being with my family, hanging out with friends, traveling, shopping, and relaxing! I couldn’t have come this far without the love and support of my amazing family.
I’m so ecstatic to be cheering for the best team and fans in the NFL!
