Hello Redskins fans!
My name is Anabel and this is my fourth season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader. If you haven’t seen me on the field you may have seen me in the September 2006 Issue of FHM, the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, the September 2008 Issue of Maxim, on the cover of the ’06-’07 Redskins Cheerleader Swimsuit calendar, on the NFL Network’s series "NFL Cheerleader Playoffs," or in the "Beauties on the Beach Challenge" during Super Bowl XLI.
Of all my experiences as a cheerleader I am most grateful for having the chance to travel overseas to perform for our troops and witnessing the sacrifices they have made for all of us. I am humbled by this life changing experience and I take away many valuable lessons from touring overseas. Some of the countries that I have visited include Iraq, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Aruba.
Before my days as a cheerleader on the sidelines of FedExField I was a member of the dance team the "Masonettes" throughout college. I am a graduate of George Mason University receiving a B.S. in Economics, a Minor in Business, and Minor in Information Technology. Higher education is very important to me and I plan to pursue a JD/MBA degree from a reputable law school in the future. In the meantime, I am very busy developing my professional career as a Data Analyst during the day.
During the offseason I am a company dancer with Capitol Movement Inc. which is a non-profit organization that promotes the development of dancers in the DC area. To stay fit and on top of my hectic schedule I supplement my workouts at Crossfit and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, scrabble, and spending time with friends and family.
