Guidelines

The Washington Redskins players are committed to supporting the Washington, D.C. community and they make numerous community appearances throughout the year. While their free time is limited, making a difference in the lives of others is important.

During the offseason, our players make numerous community appearances including at youth football camps, clinics, and our charity golf tournament to name a few. In addition, many of our players are involved in their own foundations or community service projects that they have personally scheduled.

During the season, in addition to their normal practice schedule, our players are committed to Redskins Charitable Foundation community programs such as weekly visits to area hospitals, schools, and various other events.

All requests must be submitted on the player appearance request form at least 8 weeks in advance of your event. No telephone, fax, or email requests will be accepted.

Availability
January and February
Players are generally not available due to their vacation schedules or non-residence in the area.

March, April, May, and June
Players participate in voluntary workouts and mandatory mini-camps and might be available depending on their schedule.

July and August
Training Camp begins in July. Players are not available once Training Camp begins.

September, October, November, and December
Players are only available on Tuesdays, which is normally their only day off during the season. In addition, many of our players are committed to participating in community events through the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and their own personal foundations on Tuesdays.

Paid Appearances

Paid business/promotional appearance fees are not set by the Redskins. Individual players and their agents establish these rates. Rates vary depending upon the player requested and the specifics of the appearance. The majority of Redskin player appearances are unpaid, including community and charitable appearances. If you are requesting a paid appearance by a Redskin player, please specify which player you would like to attend and the fee that will be paid to the player.
