The Junior Redskins All-Stars Dance Team ranked second, fourth and fifth in the nation at the All Star Dance Nationals in Orlando.

This talented team of 37 young ladies ages 8-17 years old traveled to Orlando Jan. 28-Feb. 1 to compete in the UDA All-Star Nationals Competition. The competition gathers the country’s top dance studios and all star dance teams to compete for the national title.

This is the Junior Redskins All-Stars Dance Team’s third trip to this competition and the first time they have ever placed in the top five in the nation.

The All-Stars were broken into five teams and here’s how they placed: Junior Hip Hop- 2nd place; Junior Jazz, 5th place; Senior Hip Hop, 4th place; Senior Jazz, 5th place and Youth Jazz, 2nd place.

For the seniors that have been with the All-Stars since its inception five years ago, this is a great accomplishment! They are truly proud of how they have grown together as a team. 

The All-Stars dance team is chosen each year from our summer dance camps.

The top 37 dancers are then selected to be on the team and attend rehearsals twice a week at FedExField. They perform at games, local competitions and the Nationals.
