FedExField, the home of the Washington Redskins, will be the site when the Indiana Hoosiers host the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010.

“We are excited to have Indiana and Penn State playing in a pivotal Big Ten Conference game at FedExField,” Redskins Chief Operating Officer Mitch Gershman said.  “Both universities have a very large following with enthusiastic fan support and alumni in the Washington Metropolitan area. It is a unique opportunity for the fans of this area to watch Big Ten football in person and we expect a great crowd at the game.

"We couldn’t have done this without the support of Prince George’s County, as we work together to make FedExField a major sports and entertainment destination. We are excited that FedExField will host three prominent college football games in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.”

In 2008, Penn State finished with an 11-1 regular season record and shared the Co-Big Ten Conference championship title with Ohio State. The Nittany Lions played in the Rose Bowl, marking their first trip to Pasadena since 1995. Indiana recorded Big Ten Conference victories over Iowa and Minnesota in 2008.

Information on tickets sales and kickoff time will be released at a later date.

In addition to the Penn State vs. Indiana game, FedExField will host Boise State vs. Virginia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 and the 112th Army-Navy game, which will be played on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011.
