Hello, Burgundy and Gold fans!
It’s your 2009-10 captains--Jamilla, Heather, Kelly and Abby--from Marco Island, Fla.!
We are on the beautiful white sandy beaches shooting the Cheerleader Calendar for the upcoming season and we can’t wait to share with you the new sultry and sexy photos of our new team.
Our squad is one of the luckiest in the NFL; we are able to take our entire team of 43 girls on location for a week of sun, sand, fun, and of course, photo shoots! The first morning after we arrived, we went right to work with makeup, hair, wardrobe and photo shoots.
We were selected to kick-start the week of photo shoots Wednesday morning bright and early. We were so proud and excited to have all four of us shooting together!
After a few hours of sleep, we were up at 4 a.m. for hair and makeup. At 6 a.m., after last minute touch-ups, it was time to get started.
Abby was the first to shoot and was thrilled to be the first one to go and first to be finished! With a few more nerves than years past--being the first is a bit more pressure!--we all headed out to the front of our beautiful hotel to the elaborate waterfalls and fountains.
We were all so thrilled to have the support of our teammates and friends who were up before sunrise and waiting by the waterfall. The fountain’s Vegas-style lighting at sunrise complimented Abby’s white bikini that had pink and red kisses all over it.
After a few shots on the rocks and few more in the water, we all applauded as the first photo shoot was completed.
Heather was next and her photo shoot was in the same waterfall location. She was more than excited to be shooting the first day to get the nerves out early.
Heather’s green bikini looked fabulous with her stunning red hair. She took a couple photos in the water then finished up lying on her side on a rock ledge.
After completing her photo shoot, Heather was interviewed on film and she discussed her shoot and her experiences as a cheerleader.
Two down--two to go!
As the sun went up, we changed location to the beach for Kelly’s shoot. She posed in the water wearing a custom-designed Redskins outfit. Her jersey style top and burgundy bottoms popped against the clear blue water and golden sunrise.
As a vet and experienced team member, she had no nerves and thoroughly enjoyed her moment in the spotlight.
Jamilla was the last to shoot in the morning. She needed extra prep time for her body paint and rhinestone bikini to be applied.
The amazingly talented body paint artist Michelle Raab helped Jamilla apply her lavender creation--as did the other girls.
We were racing for time before the sun rose to quickly get Jamilla to the set. She laid flat on the floor and as the makeup artist finished applying touch-ups, we all helped glue individual rhinestones on her body.
If we all weren’t a bonded team of sisters before, then we sure are now!
Jamilla shot on the beach and in the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf Coast and then raced upstairs to wash off the three hours worth of work and change into a bikini for our captains shot
We all headed to the beach in matching white bikinis embroidered with our logo for a photo shoot together.
After several different poses and a sexy ending--you will just have to wait to see!--we wrapped up the morning of Day 1!
After a few more interviews and taped tag lines for our Beauties on the Beach special, it was off to a big breakfast and a nap.
Can’t wait to see the final product of all our hard work! Stay tuned for more updates and look for the release of our 2009/2010 calendar in late July or early August!
Love and “Cheers.”
