WHAT IS REDSKINS ALL STARS?

The Redskins All Stars program encourages Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., youth to make a difference in their community by organizing and completing a service project. After the project is completed and all paperwork is submitted, Washington, D.C., area community leaders judge the projects and select those that will receive Redskins All Stars grants.

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?

Any nonprofit organization in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia is eligible to participate. Youth between the ages of 5 and 18 along with their youth leaders, coaches, teachers, or parents are eligible to participate in the community service project; however, the project itself MUST be completed BY the youth.

WHAT IS AWARDED?

The Redskins and the Freddie Mac Foundation will award more than $100,000 to area nonprofit organizations whose projects leave a lasting impression on the community. It is required that awarded incentive grant money be reinvested back into the community through future service projects.

• $15,000 grant winner (1 winner)
• $10,000 grant recipients (2 winners)
• $7,500 grant recipients (2 winners)
• $5,000 grant recipients (6 winners)
• $1,000 grant recipients (20 winners)
