Coaches in the Classroom

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation’s Coaches in the Classroom program, with support from the Athlife Foundation, places academic athletic advisors at area high schools throughout the region. The advisors help student-athletes create an academic game plan and prepare them for the next step after high school, whether that be trade school, the workforce or college, while promoting the ideals of positive youth development through sport and community service.

This program runs exclusively in all five Richmond City Public High Schools:

  • Armstrong High School
  • George Wythe High School
  • Huguenot High School
  • John Marshall High School
  • Thomas Jefferson High School

Additional school locations include:

  • Columbia Heights Education Campus (District of Columbia Public Schools)
  • F.W. Ballou High School (District of Columbia Public Schools)
  • Woodrow Wilson High School (District of Columbia Public Schools)
