What if we can’t make it to a rehearsal?
You may miss rehearsals. However, it is the responsibility of the Junior Redskins Cheerleader to learn any material that was missed. We advise that the cheerleader contact another Junior Redskins Cheerleader to learn any new choreography. If a cheerleader misses the mandatory rehearsal before a performance, she will not be allowed to participate in that performance. The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders are not able to prorate the instructional fee for any missed rehearsals or performances.
Are parents able to stay during rehearsal?
At the FedExField location, the participants will rehearse in the dance studio. Due to space limitations, parents will not be permitted to view rehearsals. The viewing of rehearsals at satellite studios is at the discretion of each studio director/instructor. Before each performance we will arrange for parents to view the mandatory rehearsal in order to take pictures, videotape, etc. These rehearsals are 10:00am – 12:00pm for all ages at FedExField on designated dates.
Do the parents get tickets to the games?
No. However, the performances outside the stadium, such as the parades, are available for all parents, family members and friends to attend. We will provide DVDs of all three performances inside the stadium at the end of the season. You will receive information to purchase tickets for the games which the Junior cheerleaders perform.
How will the Junior Redskins Cheerleaders get to the stadium?
Junior Redskins Cheerleaders will meet in the Gray/Employee Lot at FedExField. The Junior Redskins Cheerleaders will be led by our staff to the stadium and will be return to the lot after their performance.
