Hey ‘Skins Fans!
My name is Susan, and I’m thrilled to be back for a second year with the First Ladies of Football. My rookie year with the Redskins organization exceeded all expectations, so first I’d like to say “thank you.” I owe so many of the great memories I’ve made over the past year to wonderful fans, like you!
A little bit about me... I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and have been dancing for as long as I can remember. I’ve trained in all styles - ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, you name it! Later in life, my love of performing and my competitive spirit led me to four years with the Penn State Lionettes Dance Team – currently the 2012 NDA National Champions!! I’m such a proud alumna… WE ARE!

From the moment I graduated college I knew I wanted to be in DC, so I’ve been living here and loving life ever since. I am fortunate to have two careers that I love, and when I’m not on the field, I work full-time at a consulting firm in their Account Management department. Each day I am surrounded by intelligent, driven individuals and have the opportunity to interact with, and directly impact, some of the world’s brightest senior executives.
In my free time, you can catch me out and about trying new restaurants in the area (I’m a food lover and enjoy experiencing new places!), at a concert (I’m really into Indie music, and of course anything I can dance to), skiing (still learning, but it's tons of fun!), or training / performing with Capitol Movement Dance Company (CMI) – a non-profit organization whose mission is to support dance education for disadvantaged youth in DC. Last spring, I was honored to be a part of CMI’s 6th annual show at the Kennedy Center, which was a dream come true.
One of my favorite memories from last season was our season opener against the Giants – also the 9/11 10th anniversary tribute. Running through the tunnel for the very first time, rolling out the 100 yard American flag, and feeling the energy from the crowd was an experience I’ll never forget. Not only did we kick-off the 2011 season with a hard-fought win, but it was a humbling reminder that the Redskins family has the honor of representing our Nation’s Capital.
I look forward to another year of great teammates, friendships, travel, and cheering the ‘Skins to a winning season…. hope to see YOU on Game Day!
Hail!
