Hi Redskins Fans!

My name is Rita and I am so excited for my rookie season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader! It is an honor to cheer on my hometown team with my beautiful, talented teammates and the best fans in the NFL. I had the honor of being a Washington Redskins Ambassador, and one of my greatest accomplishments was being awarded Rookie of the Year!

I graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and minors in Business and Computer Science. I currently work as a Systems Engineer for a government contractor.

Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was seven years old. I danced at local studios throughout my childhood, cheered in high school, and was a member of several dance organizations in college. I love staying busy and active – I am always on the go! In my free time, you can find me working out, hiking, trying new restaurants, or baking my famous red velvet cheesecake brownies. As a Virginia alumnus, I have grown to love country music, sundresses, and sweet tea.

I would like to thank my family and friends for their continued support. I am looking forward to meeting all of you at FedExField – see you on the sidelines! HAIL!
