Hi I’m Mimi and I am very excited to be a rookie Washington Redskins Cheerleader because I am a big fan of the Redskins!

I am 28 years old and I was born in Washington, DC and raised in Oxon Hill, MD. I am a true DC girl!!! I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a B.A. in Dance. While I was attending the University of Maryland, I was a member of the first all-girl competitive cheer team. During my tenure as a Terrapin competitive cheerleader, I was named MVP three of my four years and I was named rookie of the year my first year on the team, all while winning two national championships back 2 back.

After that, I continued to cheer for the Baltimore Ravens for two years. I decided to take a break and I realized that I missed cheering and dancing so much that I had to return and be a part of one of the best teams in the NFL, the Washington Redskins.

I currently work for the FDA as a program analyst on the foreign inspections team. I enjoyed growing up in the nation’s capital. There are so many things to experience here that you cannot experience anywhere else. There is nothing like having the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall in your backyard.

When I am not cheering and dancing, spending time with friends and family is my choice activity, as well as spending time with my Fiancé, cat and two dogs Scooch, Isis and Sampson. I love to laugh and in general, be in good company because home is where the heart is. If my heart is happy where I am, then I’m home.

This season is going to be great and I can’t wait to cheer for the best team in the NFL!
