Kon-nichi-wa, Redskins fans!

My name is Masako and I am thrilled to be returning as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader!

I am originally from Kobe, Japan. I studied English literature in college and wrote my thesis about "Romeo and Juliet,” one of the most famous tragedies by Shakespeare. After I graduated, I worked as a personal assistant for high-level executives for almost 10 years before I moved to the U.S. in 2012.  I met our director, Stephanie, in Japan in 2007 when she came to teach dance and I just fell in love with the WRC style!

After I graduated, I worked as a personal assistant for high-level executives for almost 10 years before I moved to the U.S. in 2012.  I met our director, Stephanie, in Japan in 2007 when she came to teach dance and I just fell in love with the WRC style! I sometimes still cannot believe that my dream to become a Washington Redskins Cheerleader finally came true in 2013, and I am always humbled and grateful that meeting her turned into a life changing experience!

Outside of dancing I am very blessed to have a job as an office manager/accountant at a major Japanese TV station in DC. I also have my own catering business called “M’s Kitchen” which specialize in Japanese fusion cuisine, so I cook and cater for the parties and events in DMV area. Cooking has been the love of my life especially after I moved to the U.S., and hopefully I can open my own Sake bar/restaurant in near future and also educate people that eating healthy can be really fun and tasty.

I can't wait to see you all at the games! HTTR!!!!
