Hey Redskins Fans!

My name is Christa and I am so honored and thrilled to be returning to the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders with such amazing teammates!  There is nothing like being on the field and cheering on my home team!

Being a Redskins fan runs in the family; not only did my parents have season tickets while I was growing up, but my grandparents were season ticket holders as well!  Coming to Redskins games as a little girl, I loved watching the cheerleaders and remember telling my mom “I want to do that!”

I grew up playing every sport possible, but then my focus eventually landed on basketball, tennis, and dance.  I went to an all-girls high school that didn’t have a cheerleading team, so I took jazz and hip hop classes throughout high school at a local studio.  I went to college originally to play on the basketball team, but changed my mind and joined the cheerleading squad and tennis team instead.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Sports Communications.  I currently am a Fitness Manager at a gym in downtown DC, where I train clients, teach classes and keep everything running smoothly!

I had the honor to represent the Washington Redskins Cheerleader overseas while performing for the troops on an Armed Forces Entertainment tour in January of 2015.  With four other teammates, we traveled to Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Afghanistan!  It was the trip of a lifetime and I have so much more appreciation for our military! God bless America and Hail to the Redskins!
