Hey Redskins Fans!
My name is Christa and I am so honored and thrilled to be a part of the 2013-2014 Washington Redskins Cheerleaders with such amazing ladies for my second season! Being a rookie last year was an unbelievable experience and I am so happy to be back! There is nothing like being on the field and cheering on my home team! One of my favorite moments this past season was during the Dallas game, after we won and realizing that we were going to the Playoffs!!
Being a Redskins fan runs in the family; not only did my parents have season tickets while I was growing up, but my grandparents were season ticket holders as well! Coming to Redskins games as a little girl, I loved watching the cheerleaders and remember telling my mom “I want to do that!”

I grew up playing every sport possible, but then my focus eventually landed on basketball, tennis and dance. I went to an all-girls high school that didn’t have a cheerleading team, so I took jazz and hip hop classes throughout high school at a local studio. I went to college originally to play on the basketball team but changed my mind and joined the cheerleading squad and tennis team instead. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Sports Communications. After college, I was a personal trainer, group exercise instructor and tennis coach full-time until I started to work at a non-profit in downtown DC. I recently got certified in Pilates Mat and have started teaching classes in my spare time.
When I’m not cheering, you can probably find me near a beach, playing tennis or practicing yoga (especially Bikram yoga)! I also love spending time with my teammates (who have become like my sisters), family and friends who mean the world to me; I love you all so much!!
I can’t wait to proudly represent the burgundy and gold at FedExField with some of the most inspiring and incredible women I have ever met! I know I’ll be seeing the best fans in the stands!! HAIL to the Redskins!!!
