Hey Redskins Family!!

I am beyond thrilled to be back on the sidelines this year as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader!  Becoming a part of this great big family has been an incredible experience and such a blessing in my life.

I am originally from Columbia, Md., and my love for performing started at a young age. Unlike a lot of my fellow sisters on the team I was a rambunctious tomboy and played basketball most of my early years, but I started taking dance classes here and there.

By high school I really started to get into cheer and dance and I was a cheerleader for four years, serving as captain for two, and was also a part of our school dance company for three years.

While attending college in the nation's capital, my love for the Burgundy and Gold began to grow and now will forever be a part of me. I received my B.S. in Health Science from the illustrious Howard University, and had the honor of cheering on our Bison for three years. HHHUUUU! I enjoy helping people, so having professions as both a massage therapist and your local "Good Neighbor" keep me busy when I'm not at FedExField. But hey! Who needs sleep when you are living your dream, right?! :)

When I am not dancing or working you can catch me, that's right… relaxing. YAY!!!! I can't pass up curling up with some hot chocolate or tea and watching old movies. I love to read, write poetry, travel, cook and chase after my three lively kids – they keep me young!

My journey has been nothing short of amazing and after cheering one year with the Baltimore Blast Cheerleaders. Fulfilling my aspirations as a 1st Lady of Football has been such a wonderful experience. The unforgettable memories and opportunities, being able to share this with so many amazing friends that have the same dream, giving back to the community, the amazing friendships and the impactful influence of being a part of something that is so much bigger than me is greater than I have ever imagined.

To my family – I would not be where I am today without the support and love of you and God. To my husband – thank you for standing by me to support my dream. I am truly honored to be back and even more so because this will be my first year as a Co-Captain!! I know I am in store for the most amazing year thus far. La vida es buena! Life is good! I can't wait to see you on the field.

HTTR!!
